Girls defeated Aurora and Riverside Friday night and finished in 7th place at Morton Relays Saturday. Boys defeated Riverside Friday night and finished in 10th place at Morton Relays Saturday. Swimmers combined to set 71 season-best times between the meets! Results and updated top times are attached. Please check the reminders and schedule below for the week.
Reminders:
1.) We are in need of a few timer volunteers for the league meet Saturday. If you are able to help us out, please place your name on the linked Google form.
2.) Our entries are capped for the league meet. Attendance and top times will be used to determine the lineup. We may enter four swimmers per event. Please check lineups at practice this week.
3.) Divers, if you have your 11 dive routine and are entered, you may travel with the team bus for prelims or be dropped off by 12:30 pm for the diving portion of the meet that will occur between prelims and finals (address: CSU Busbey Natatorium: 2451 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115). Diving warmups will begin at 1:00 pm with the diving competition starting at 2:00 pm. Please contact me if you have any questions.
4.) For practice absences, please send me a quick email me with date and reason (doc appointment, family emergency, sick, sport, etc.) so that we can update attendance. Please be sure that you are getting missed practices made up. Thank you!

Tue 12/31 AM/PM – Mandatory conditioning practice at HS gym/balcony 9:00-11:00 am (where the bus picks us up for meets). Wear tennis shoes, gym clothes, and bring a jacket)
Wed 1/1 PM – Off for the holiday
Thu 1/2 AM – Optional/make-up swim practice at LH Wellness 5:45-6:45 am
Thu 1/2 PM – Swim practice at LH Wellness 2:45-5:00 pm
Fri 1/3 AM – Optional/make-up swim practice at LH Wellness 5:45-6:45 am

Sat 1/4 AM – Meet at CSU against GCC League Meet. Bus 7:15 am. Prelims start 10:00 am. Finals start 6:00 pm. Swimmers not qualifying for finals will have a return bus to Mentor at the conclusion of prelims. Swimmers qualifying for finals will stay between sessions and have a return bus to Mentor at the conclusion of finals.
