High School Swim Team Update - Week of 11/29/21

 Good evening everyone,

We hope you had a fantastic holiday with family and friends!  We also hope swimmers enjoyed the festive Wednesday practice! :)  We have our first dual meets and invitational this coming weekend.  Reminders and our schedule for the week are included below.  



Reminders:
1.) We will need timers for our dual meet on Friday 12/3 against Padua, NDCL, and St Joeseph.  If you are able to help us out, please place your name on the Google Doc linked here.  Please don't be worried about signing up as a timer.  Timers are a third backup.  We are required to have two timers per lane, but the touchpads and buttons will always get the time.  Thank you to volunteers that have already signed up!
2.) All swimmers that meet attendance requirements will be entered in both the dual meets Friday 12/3 and Hilltopper Invitational Saturday 12/4.  If you have any questions, please see me at practice.

3.) Pay to play has been posted for the swim team roster in Infinite Campus.  We will need to have this in for the first meet (12/3) for swimmers to participate.  If there are any errors or questions, please reach out to the athletic office.  
4.) For practice absences, please send us a quick email with the date and reason (doc appointment, family emergency, sick, sport, etc.) so that we can update attendance.  Please also make sure that you are getting missed practices made up.  Thank you!

High School Swim Team Update - Week of 11/22/21

 Good evening everyone,

Happy Thanksgiving week everyone!  We hope you are planning some time to enjoy the holiday with family and friends.  We wish everyone traveling a safe journey and a happy holiday!

It is hard to believe that we are four weeks into training.  When we return from break, we will be getting ready for our first dual meet and invitational.  Our reminders and schedule for the week are included below.  

Reminders:

1.) We are working on a spiritwear selection and store.  We hope to have it posted soon.  We have run into a bit of a challenge this year with providers having trouble securing inventory/having target dates late into January.  We hope to go with the option that can provide us the best turnaround time.
2.) The meet schedule has been updated to include times for most of our meets this season.
2.) Pay to play has been posted for the swim team roster in Infinite Campus.  We will need to have this in for the first meet of the year (12/3).  If there are any errors or questions, please reach out to the athletic office.

High School Swim Team Update - Week of 11/15/21

 Good morning everyone,

Included below are our important reminders and schedule for the week.  Have a great week!

Reminders:
1.) Senior banner pictures will be taken Wednesday, Nov 17th, at 2:15 pm in the High School Gym hallway/Gym.  For pictures, please wear team warm-up top and team warm-up bottom/black pants. If you do not have a warm-up jacket, please share so that we have a consistent look across all senior banners.  There will be a few sizes of S-XL jackets in the athletic office that can be borrowed. 
2.) Pay to play has been posted for the swim team roster in Infinite Campus.  If there are any errors or questions, please reach out to the athletic office.  Thank you!

High School Swim Team Update - Week of 11/7/21

Good afternoon everyone,

Excellent work last week as we got settled into practice.  It has been great to see the team back in the water and in the swing of things.  We are still sorting out an email issue with the newsletters (district tech department reporting it may be the size of our email list).  Hope to have that fixed moving forward.  Included below are our important reminders and our schedule for the week.



Reminders:
1.) A final poll will be sent out for swimmers to select a spiritwear design.  Swimmers, please make a selection based on the finalists so that we can plan to run the store in the upcoming weeks.
2.) If you did not have a chance to turn in your forms yet, please be sure to get FinalForms and your athletic physical turned in as soon as possible.
3.) For practice absences, please send us a quick email with the date and reason (doc appointment, family emergency, sick, sport, etc.) so that we can update attendance.  Missed practices should be made up using the morning option.  Thank you!

4.) For practice, you will need your suit, towel, goggles, cap (if you wear one), and clothes that you will change into.
5.) Please remember to wear masks at all times when not in the water.
