Fantastic meet at Sectionals on Saturday! The girls took 2nd and the boys 3rd. Swimmers combined to set 63 season best times!

Reminders:
1.) It is important to be at practice each day as we taper. We will drop practice yardage and intensity over our remaining practices to get the best performance for our championship meets.
2.) Please be sure to practice the strategies for a good taper we have been talking about at practice. We want to be fully rested and ready to perform our fastest.
- Good night's sleep
- Good diet (especially pasta and vegetables Thursday/Friday)
- Avoid excessive hours staring at device screens
- Avoid activities that will take a lot of energy or that risk injury (lifting, hot tubs, skiing, etc.)
3.) We will be updating relays at practice this week based on the addition of Saturday's sectional times. Our relay performances have been incredible so far! I wish we could run multiple because I know we have so many swimmers ready to contribute great performances! We make any adjustments with the goal to position the relays to drop even more time and continue to advance. Keep working hard as a group to make our relays the fastest they can be; it takes the collective effort of every team member to push them forward!
4.) For practice, please bring your suit, towel, goggles, cap (if you prefer one), and water bottle (if you prefer one).

Wed 2/12 - Swim practice at UH Wellness 2:45-5:00 pm.

Fri 2/14 - Swim practice at UH Wellness 2:45-5:00 pm.
Sat 2/15 - Meet at CSU against Districts. Bus 9:00 am. Start 12:00 pm (will be crowded, plan to arrive early)
