Good evening everyone,
Great job at the meets this past weekend! Swimmers combined to set a staggering 117 best times from the two meets! On Friday, both teams defeated South and Brush. With the wins, the boys team improved to 8-0 and the girls team 6-1. On Saturday, the boys team finished as Perry Invitational champions, and the girls team as runner up out of 19 schools. 27 different Cardinals scored for the team in individual events! Results and top times have been updated on the team website. Our team reminders and schedule for the week are included below.
Reminders:
1.) For our away meet Friday, we will enter as many swimmers as the host allows. Attendance and top times will be used to determine the entries/lineup. We expect most of the team will attend.
2.) For our home meet Saturday, all swimmers that meet attendance will be entered.
3.) We are in need of volunteer timers for our home meet Saturday against Strongsville and Euclid. If you are able to help us out, please place your name on the Google Doc linked here. Timers get into the meet for free. Thank you to the volunteers that helped at our last meet!
4.) The team is planning to sell superbowl squares again this year as a fundraiser. The squares are 10$. This will help support senior gifts, a return of team pasta parties, and a return of team bus snacks. Squares will be sold at our upcoming meets.
5.) For practice absences, please send us a quick email with the date and reason (doc appointment, family emergency, sick, sport, etc.) so that we can update attendance. Please make sure that you are getting missed practices made up. Thank you!
